The Central Asia Harvest Project
This project seeks to improve the quality of life for small scale fruit farmers of eastern Kazakhstan through a famer to farmer training program and development assistance designed to improve farming methods and livelyhoods.

Despite being located in an oasis, the Harvest Project's clients live in a region whose farms are barely able to support the farming families themselves.

In response to limited training, poor practices, and deep rooted supersition, the Harvest Project is designed to bring transformation through the development of healthy and profitable orchards.

Agricultural training meets a fundamental need in Central Asia. Healthy and profitable farms provide sustenance for families and a means by which farmers can create a better future for their community.

For these famers, the absence of agricultural training limits their survival and growth; however, the presence of the Harvest Project allows farmers to improve their livelihood and therefore improve their ability to care for their families and local communities.

Serving Central Asian farmers requires years of planning, planting and harvest. The Harvest Project seeks to provide farmers with the means to experience physical, spiritual, and social transformation.

The Project:
• Orchard development
• Farm Management
• Product Marketing
• Farmer-to-Farmer Training
