Our History

In 1995, a group of men and women working in various countries gathered on an island near Hong Kong. They met to discuss new opportunities for humanitarian and development work. In 1997, International Development & Educational Associates (IDEAS) was incorporated with the intent to either begin or partner with projects focusing on holistic development.

Today, we have over 90 Associates working in 13 countries with numerous possibilities of adding more project locations! We have established strong, reciprocal partnerships with other ministries and organizations. These partnerships allow us to build on local relationships within the communities we work, to serve alongside like-minded individuals who are passionate about holistic transformation and to multiply our talents and expertise to better accomplish our mission and vision.
