Vernon Laverty
Vernon Laverty is President of IDEAS. Prior to his appointment in December 2007, Vernon was Chairman of the Board and has served on IDEAS Board since its inception.
Vernon joined Hewlett-Packard in 1977 and over the course of his 30 year business career, gained experience in Sales, Sales Management, Service Management, Operations and Call Centers both in the US and globally.
When Hewlett-Packard spun off Agilent Technologies as a separate company in 1999, Vernon held the position of Agilent's World Wide Sales, Marketing and Customer Services Engineering Manager.
Vernon earned his Bachelor's in Chemistry from Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of Trax Technologies in Scottsdale, AZ. TraxTech provides a scalable and flexible solution for Freight Payment and Freight Rating to their valued Fortune 500 customers worldwide.
