Our partner school in Amman is dedicated to teaching biblical principles that prepare students for a life of character, integrity, and excellence. They serve the expatriate community of Amman, working with students from over 21 countries. Teachers come from Jordan, the UK, Egypt, South Korea, and the U.S. The average class size is 15, offering classes for 1st through 12th grade. All classes are taught in English and Arabic and the curriculum is American SAT and Advanced Placement.

Teachers & Admin:

  • Mature Christian with a clear testimony.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in field.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills with students and adults.
  • Current teacher's license (preferred - for teaching positions).
  • Adherence to IDEAS and school's Statement of Faith and Professional Code of Conduct.

Clinical Counselor:

  • Mature Christian with a clear testimony.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, licensure with a governing body in the mental health field and preferably 2-5 years’ experience with youth, TCK s or crisis counseling.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.


  • Mature Christian with a clear testimony.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Library and Information Science is desired, but not required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a librarian is desirable, but not required.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Familiarity with using technology to retrieve usable and reliable information.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills with students and adults.
  • Adherence to IDEAS and school's Statement of Faith and Professional Code of Conduct.

Chief Accountant:

  • Mature Christian with a clear testimony.
  • Bachelor’s  degree in Accounting (required).
  • Certificate of Management Accounting (preferred).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an international business setting.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Minimum two-year commitment.
  • Has the ability to provide leadership in developing and implementing strategic financial plans.
  • Comprehensive understanding of QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing organizational and project-specific budgets.

Other qualifications may apply depending on position.

Costs vary per person

  • A stipend of $800 per month is given to teaching and administrative personnel which can cover housing and food expenses.
  • Each applicant will also need additional funds for items such as their personal expenses, travel costs, international insurance, visa requirements, and program fees. Applicants have the option to self-fund or raise funds.
  • Staff who commit to more than 2 years receive more compensation benefits.
  • Residence/ work permits are provided by the school.
  • Fundraising training and coaching is available.
  • Singles and families are welcome to apply.
  • Full-time teachers’ children are guaranteed a space at their respected grade level.
  • Jordanian residency permits are provided.
